THE GIANT LEFT US

The country has often pride herself as the giant of Africa and indeed she was many years ago, undisputably so.

Whether she is still the giant of the great Afican continent blest with a league of very endowned but impoverished Nations, is not clear or perhaps the giant in the nation Nigeria, left.

That seems to be the only plausible consolatory excuse when you reflect on how badly our value system coupled with the entire productive economy has collapsed.

We had at one time in our history rich supplies of agricultural products such as groundnut pyramids, loads of cocoa, hectares of palm fruit yield, sugar cane , millet, beans, rice, onions, tomatoes, to mention a few. Rich solid mineral supply including bauxite, iron & gold ores, bitumen, talc, rock salt, lead/zinc and gypsum from a list of others.

Our chief liquid mineral crude oil has ranked one of the best in the world for many years ever before any recession.

There are vast fertile lands some of which have provided land capital for some world class companies and rich water bodies that have produced not only one of the best quality supply but almost the most quantity supply.

Nigeria has always been blest an ever growing population of hardworking men and women contributing to national growth and development.

The aforementioned resources have attracted an unimaginable wealth for Nigeria via foreign exchanges to earn the nation the status of a giant at her peak.

You can imagine the degree of shock one would have when one critiques the following analysis I stumbled upon recently.

Here it is :

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!
NAIRA EXCHANGE RATE vs AFRICAN COUNTRIES:
South Africa: Rand 1= 79 Naira
Angola: 1 kwanza = 12 Naira
Botswana: 1 Pula = 28 Naira
Cape Verde: 1 Escudo = 8 Naira
Algeria: 1 Dinar = 12 Naira
Egypt: 1 Pound = 35 Naira
Eritrea: 1 Nakata = 18 Naira
Ethiopia: 1 Birr = 19 Naira
Ghana: 1 Cedi = 56 Naira
Gambia 1 Dalasi = 9 Naira
Kenya: 1 shilling = 6 Naira
Liberia: 1 Dinar = 8 Naira
Lesotho: 1 Loti = 19 Naira
Libya: 1 Dinar = 156 Naira
Morocco: 1 Dirham = 176 Naira
Madagascar: 1 Ariary = 14 Naira
Mauritius: 1 Rupee = 16 Naira
Malawi: 1 kwacha = 21 Naira
Mozambique: 1 Metical = 24 Naira
Namibia: 1 Dollar = 32 Naira
Seychelles: 1 Rupee = 22 Naira
Sudan: 1 pound = 42 Naira
Swaziland: 1 Lilangeri = 19 Naira
Tunisia: 1 Dinar = 150 Naira
Zambia: 1 kwacha = 28 Naira
Even the worst economies of Africa now have more valuable Exchange rate than us.
As at today $1 = N504
€1 = N550
£1 =N650
N1,000,000 is less than $2,300.

...and some think that we have not reached the break point?
Why una no wan join protest??
Putin (Russia): Law

Trump (America): Economics degree
Merkel (Germany): PhD physical chemistry
Xi Jinping (China): Chemical engineering and Doctor of Law
Buhari (Nigeria): WAEC not found
Yet, somebody wants a growing economy under Buhari. Only clowns and herdsmen can expect such!!!....naija can never develop unless it is restructured... I weep everyday for my suffering and hungry friends and relatives. Those who put us in this mess will surely pay for it....#Copied

This clearly does not reflect the status of a giant. Nigeria is so blessed and has numerous opportunities that have been selfishly exploited. Many more opportunities with rising global demands presently fly around waiting to be harnessed. The back breaking sweat of the years before has produced so much to permanently place us on top of our game but a few incorrigible, corrupt ,vision-less, unpatriotic Nigerians have robbed the rest of us blind and left us virtually beggars in our home land. We are wiser now!!

Rather than to keep on crying, armed with information like this we have to maximize and optimize available potentials in order to re-awaken the GIANT in us who long left.

They had tried getting her into lying back but she was as immovable as a thousand year old mountain. Ndubuisi had called his dad to come over as soon as he got there and so they stood impatiently awaiting his arrival. Few minutes later Chief Ojobo arrived and was also taken aback by what he saw. Ndubuisi: “Thanks for coming so soon dad. We really need your help here” Pamela’s mum: “Amakaaaaa…” she yelled out her last daughter’s name. Amaka: “Maaaa” the little girl yelled back from the backyard and ran into the room. Pamela’s mum: “Get a seat for the doctor’s dad from the parlor now!” she ordered and the little girl scampered off to do what she was asked to do. Ndubuisi: “Dad, do you probably know what thi

As soon as he had stepped in, he saw his wife on the bed, her naked ebony body glistening under the dim light emanating from the old bulb they used. She was fingering herself and moaning so sweetly he got an erection immediately. As he walked towards her like a zombie drawn to a beating heart, her whole body quaked under the power of her release, she relaxed, opened her eyes slowly and heaved a sigh of relief.  Immediately she saw him standing there with a huge erection and lustful eyes, she quickly made to sit up and cover herself with the blanket but he, like a lightening grabbed hold of her and pinned her down with the weight of his body. Ikenna: “I have something I need to discuss with you right now. So sit up” he ordered. Pamela: “What is it?” she asked drowsily. Ikenna: “Haven’t you healed yet? Or how long does it take a person to heal emotionally? It has been a year for crying out loud.” Pamela: “Please sir, I really need to rest for now. Let’s talk about this at daybreak. Please?” she pleaded wearily. Ikenna: “You are pushing me to the wall. No, my back is hard pressed on the wall already and I must do something or I might not survive this.” Pamela: “I thought we had an agreement. You are supposed to wait till I am ready right?” Ikenna: “Have I not waited long enough? What kind of wife are you exactly?” Pamela: “I am exactly the kind you married” she snapped back.   For complete story click the lin
